A friendly talk
Peace of mind can be achieved, especially if a senior is inclined to worry, or feel uncertain at times. Once registered, you can receive a general wellbeing call with a trained therapist. You can have the same person each time.
Carers Wellbeing
Carers who are working may be the ones looking for this kind of service to check-in with their loved ones who may be living alone, but still fairly independent.
Older Australians may move away from friends and areas they know. Or they may be worried about considering when is the right time to down-size. Data tells us that of people over 70 years of age, women living alone make up 70%, compared to only 22% of men. Ongoing social isolation and loneliness can negatively affect mental wellbeing.
Arrange to Speak with a trained general counsellor
The chats may be generally social, and use talk therapy listening skills, providing referrals when needed. We are a small group of mature trained counsellors who can assist with a regular call or telehealth appointment. Or you can book individual appointments when you feel like it. The fees are affordable, with package prices available for 3 or more sessions.
